Flurry

Flurry

Small petals drop
from the trees
with the aid
of the wind.
They could be
mistaken for
snowflakes as
they twirl in
the air and create
a whiteout.
They never melt.
Instead, they choose
between drifting
on the breeze
or snuggling
with the earth.

Have you seen any flurries this spring?
