Reunion

Reunion

After hanging out together
most of the year,
the cones went out
on their own.
Plop, plop--they dropped.
Hit the ground, rolled around.
Pushed by the wind.
Kicked by a foot.
Some crushed by the same.
But, one small group
was gathered up.
Placed side-by-side.
Reunited after the fall.

Peace Be With You

 Peace Be With You

Peace be with you, my friend.
Be yours until the end
both inside and outside.

May you have peace of mind.
May the stars be aligned
in your favor always.

May the gift of good health
be a part of your wealth
all the days of your life.

In the times you can't hide
from disruptions outside,
may calmness direct you.

All this I wish for you.
Please share with others, too.

This poem is a French form called chanso.
