Let Them Have Their Say
Memories turn on in my mind.
I can't help but let them play.
There was a time when
I tried to keep them at bay.
They dropped in on me anyway.
I find it best to let them
have their say.

A Visit to the Park
Geese swim among the trees.
Go in and out with ease.
Reflections stay in place
by the sun's grace.
A visit to the park
makes me happy as a lark.
Sweet Sounds
They play in my mind.
There was a time when
the music was live,
Now, the player has gone.
Sweet sounds are
memories I can't help
but turn on.

The Color is Gone
I feel the loss.
The color is gone.
What once was full
is now empty.
I have gone through this before
so I can see
a brighter place ahead.
