Overtime
The moon glows
as though it
had just risen.
A bright beacon
against a blue background,
just out of reach
of the dark clouds.
It continues to shine,
not ready to
surrender morning
to the sun.
Do you look for the moon in the morning? Are you surprised by how often it is visible? Have you ever written about the morning moon?
I especially enjoy watching the morning moon when I'm playing golf, but I've never thought to write about it.
