Distractions
Zeus was envious.
The attention on Helios
made him venomous.
So, he sent out rumbles
with the volume on high.
Had the rain pour down
from the sky.
Added wind gusts
on the sly.
But, he couldn't dampen
the excitement of the
day.
The focus stayed on the sun
and how it would go away.
The people couldn't be swayed.
