Meltdown
The snow that
fell so fast
rests on the bushes.
The temperature
is cold enough
to let it sit for days.
But, the sun shines
and turns the snow
to droplets that drip
among the branches.
They hang together
to form icicles that
add a little more sparkle
to the landscape.
