Wonderland
I used to dream
of wonderland.
It was always
far away.
Then, I stopped to
watch the sunrise,
and later, the sunset.
I noticed the bees
and the butterflies
sharing the flowers.
I found a heron in
the park and followed
as it took a walk.
I learned that wonder-
land isn't one place.
I create it with what
I take the time to see
in a given space.
