Tuesday Photos-Rain

We had just enough rain on Friday so that I could take a few pictures for this week's Wordsmith Studio Photo Prompt.  I love taking pictures of raindrops on any kind of leaves.

I also found a garden stone that was just starting to dry.

Is it raining where you live?  Take a few pictures, post them and put a link in the comments on the prompt page. Thanks again to Rebecca Barray for another great prompt.

  1. I had the strangest encounter with rain yesterday! I have been driving and seen that I would be heading into rain or looked in the rearview mirror and seen it coming up behind me. That makes sense to me. I was once driving on the highway and it was completely dry on my side but raining on the highway going in the opposite direction. That was bizarre, but not as bizarre as yesterday ... I was walking from my car to my apartment, having just been driving around in nice sunny weather. As I was walking, I was hearing but not seeing, smelling, or feeling rain. When I was unlocking the door, I turned to see if drops were falling in the parking lot, and it suddenly all caught up to me. No idea where it came from. :)

    1. It's amazing how storms can just pop up suddenly, especially in the Midwest.

  2. Great photos, Michelle! I love the rain: the way it smells, the way sounds. The fresh way that everything looks right after, all covered in raindrops. Well done. ;)

    1. Rain really seems to clear the air, doesn't it? I like to see everything covered in raindrops, too. Thanks for this prompt!

    1. Thanks, Linda. Don't know why I enjoy capturing those droplets, but I do!
