I am a poet and photographer who likes sports, jazz and art inspired by other art. Broken by the Storm
A tree is down.
Broken by the storm.
It withstood the wind before.
This time, the force was too strong.
Others stand near
the one that was lost.
Their branches still wave
and continue to provide shade.
But, another storm is in the forecast.
