Your World
Look around.
This is your world.
Walk through the grass.
Take a taste test.
Go into the water.
You already know
how to swim and dive.
It will take a little time,
but soon you will fly.

Curiosity
Learn to look.
Don't let the details
escape you.
Increase your
knowledge and never lose your
curiosity.

Life Skills
Listen to those who know.
Ease into the first step.
Accept your failures.
Recognize your progress.
Now, put your new life skill to use.
This is an acrostic poem.

Something New in the Park
There's something new
in the park!
I take in its
coloring and markings.
Its build and
the way it moves.
I watch it search for food.
Its stillness and focus.
Then, the quickness of its strike.
I hesitate to leave
though I have learned
much firsthand.
When there's something new
in the park,
I don't want my visit to end.

Watch What I Do
Watch what I do.
Follow my lead.
I'll show all I know.
Give you a good start.
You'll take the lead.
Make your own way.
I'll watch what you do.
Ready if you need me.
