Alone in a Bright Blue Sky
I saw a cloud
alone in a
bright blue sky.
I wondered how
it would make use
of all the space in
which it could move.
As I watched,
the cloud appeared
to hover over
a group of trees.
I thought I saw
it reach out to
the tallest, even
though it had no
chance to touch it.
