Sto Lat


Sto Lat

The shot glasses
are filled  with
Krupnik, a honey liqueur.

We hold them high
and sing out
"Sto Lat"--good fortune.

A quick tilt of
the glass empties it.
I set mine down, and

 look around the room at
the good fortune
that surrounds me.
