Winter Returns
Spring lets its
guard down and
winter returns.
The fronts are cold.
The temperature
drops so much it
yields hard freezes.
What will happen to
the trees' new leaves,
the plants that have
poked through the earth?
What about the flowers
that are in bloom?
Will they be damaged
beyond repair or
show us how to survive
an unexpected scare?
