Time to Play
Take time to play.
It doesn't have to
involve a formal game.
Do whatever you define as fun.
Something that leaves you
feeling better than you did
before you took time to play.
Time to Play
Take time to play.
It doesn't have to
involve a formal game.
Do whatever you define as fun.
Something that leaves you
feeling better than you did
before you took time to play.
You
teach me all
I need to know.
How to swim and
dive and fly.
That not all in
nature is my friend
and what I should do
when I meet up with them.
For now, I stay close by.
But, you teach me all
I need to know
and then I'll go.
Something Different
Try something different.
A new restaurant
A book by an author
whose work you haven't read
Music you've never heard
A road you haven't gone down
It doesn't matter if you
don't like the new experience.
What matters is you were willing
to try something different.
Fly Higher
I find my own rhythm.
Move to it consistently.
Set my sights higher.
Even if I don't reach
my ultimate destination,
I'll travel to places
I've never been before.
Spring into Spring
I park in the lot at the park.
Grab my camera
and head for the path.
My head is full of ideas
for pictures I will take.
I have a spring in my step
as I notice the changes
that happen in early spring.
I watch a goose sit on its nest
and look forward to what
I may see in May.

From the Ground Up
Blades of grass
Stems on plants
Leaves on the
bushes and trees.
Green returns from
the ground up.
Close Your Eyes
Fantasize!
Let your imagination run free.
Give your mind a little playtime
before you go back to work.
