Close Your Eyes
Fantasize!
Let your imagination run free.
Give your mind a little playtime
before you go back to work.

Green Turns Gold
Green Turns Gold
The green leaves work quietly,
day-after-day, for most of the year.
Only when they turn gold
do the leaves gain the attention
of the masses, who fawn over
them for their beauty but not
their contributions.

Make Your Own Music
Make Your Own Music
Maybe you will sing songs.
Maybe you will play guitar.
Maybe you will use a whistle.
Maybe you will make meals sizzle.
Maybe you will hammer nails.
Maybe you will make cars hum.
Whatever you decide to do,
make your own music.

Workday Blues
Workday Blues
Standin' out in
the afternoon sun.
Can't move on 'til
the work is done.
Wings are spread, but
I can't fly away.
Just have to get
through another day.
Each one seems
to be the same.
Do what I can.
Don't place any blame.
When this one
comes to an end,
I'll get some sleep
then start again.
