To My Pencil
Your kind has been
discarded by most,
but I am proud
to boast that I
still use a pencil.
When I put words
down on paper with
you, I feel a freedom
I don't with a keyboard.
You allow me to play
while the keys seem
to be all business.
We create fine
lines together.
Mostly importantly,
I trust you to help me
make my point.
